1266: cannot slash bushes with "Quick Movement" cheat on.

Using the Quick Movement cheat normally makes Link move and animate at super speed. Now, in 1266, bushes can't keep up with it, and won't react to his sword at all, unless one turns quick mode off.

Also, this only seems to manifest in a few very particular cases.

I would say it matters as it can be one of the fastest ways to harvest money.

Nope. Quick movement is level 4.
