I understand the circumstances of this "feature." The sword graphic reaches farther than it did in 2.10, which I happen to like. However, the functionality of the sword is different, which... is less than optimal. The sword reaches through solid objects now, allowing you to trigger sword combos that have potentially been placed directly on the opposite side of a solid combo. Found in 1256, verified in 1266.
