Hi Everyone,

Zelda classic is a great engine.

Remember glZelda (http://armageddongames.net/showthread.php?44547-glZelda&highlight=glZelda) ?

We've opened a website dedicated to our projects: http://www.warriorlabs.net/index.php?/blogs

The latest post is about a possible glZelda 2: http://www.warriorlabs.net/index.php?/blog/1/entry-12-glzelda-is-this-pc-related

For now we need support, lots of supporting people. You can register and post a message in the glZelda forum here: http://www.warriorlabs.net/index.php?/forum/4-glzelda

You can also propose a contribution.
We need level designers and sprite contributions.

Spread the news.
glZelda's fate depends on you.

I watched the demo video on your site. Looking pretty sweet! I'll have to try out the program when I get some time.

Since this project isn't directly related to ZC, I'm moving this thread to general discussion (where it'll probably receive more attention as well).

This looks cool. By the way, where might I find the second song in the video? The 'medley' after the Sound and Drama version of the Dark world. The pseudo 3D mode-7 type effect is also a nice touch.

EDIT: I downloaded it, and took a peek. As it stands it is pretty basic, but it could definite become very awesome. I understand that just getting this far has was probably a lot of work, so kudos. I also managed to find the songs in the "Music/ BGM" folder with the program.

The pseudo 3D mode-7 type effect is also a nice touch.

That's nothing like mode 7. Mode 7 on SNES actually only allows rotation and scaling matrix transformation. Meaning it's not some automatic display of a tilted 3Dish landscape. That effect on SNES was achieved with HDMA and Mode 7. That's what Mario Kart and many other games do.

The glZelda demo looked neat, but one thing I did not like was the Eagle filter or whatever is going on that makes the graphics all over smoothed. Hopefully that's just an option because it looks like shit to me. I've never understood why people like the eagle or sai filters on emulators. They suck ass.
