Silver accounts are free, so I'm talking about gold and there's not a link. I just saw it posted up on the Spotlight within XBL, which you can see with a silver account. I'm not even sure if it's still available, the option disappears if you do the one month for one dollar deal.

Ahh. There is a difference between 1 month for one dollar and one dollar per month. Not as exciting. It is the difference between "I could buy 30 days for $1" and "I could buy 3 years for the cost of 1 year."

If you buy Live service through Live, they auto-renew you once your current subscription expires. So if you bought 1 month for $1, expect them to charge you the normal monthly rate at the end of the month, which is somewhere between $5 and $10.
