The Big Matchup

So with the NCAA brackets announced yesterday, it's clear that the biggest matchup in round 1 is UCSB v. Ohio State. My Alma-mater versus your home university. Who's gonna win?

It clear to me that the best matchup is Temple/Cornell

Ohio State is overrated. They nearly lost more than once in the conference tournament.

Duke is also overrated, for what it's worth.

Washington is woefully underrated and I won't be surprised when they're still standing in the Sweet Sixteen. :)

I've been watching the Pac-10 all season, Starkist. We were a terrible, terrible conference this year. Washington is overrated if anything. Cal might make it to the second round, but I'm betting both Cal and Washington will lose in the first round.

In all fairness, I don't think UCSB has much of a shot at this one. It is after all a 2-15 matchup, and the 15 wins that matchup about once in a decade. It just caught my attention because I know that Pineconn is going to Ohio State and that many of you are from the Columbus area.

So you know what? Go ahead and take the sports victory. We'll just keep the beaches and the beautiful weather.
