View Full Version : [118Laptop Numpad off doesnt work

the page up / page down / home / end keys wont work on my laptop keypad. how it works is if numlock is on, the numbers act as normal, but if numlock is off, all other applications, (including several very old dos programs) the keys work as they should, but not in ZC. i think this is a bug, helP?

still dont work. In other programs, i just press 3 or 9 while numlock is off (or press shift + if numlock on) and it works normally...

I'm running a Toshiba Satellite Pro and it works perfectly for me.

hm... i've got an emachines e627... maybe somethings wrong with it? idk...

hell, I told you wrong anyway.
You use FN with plus and minus to change the colors, with the page up and down I don't have to push anything different.
on my desktop you press either Ctrl or Shift and page up down I believe.

If your laptop has a full keyboard with a numpad, shouldn't it be the same as using a desktop?

mostly, but it doesn't have that section of 6 keys normally found above the arrow keys, so they are placed on the numpad keys and normally usuable as normal if numpad is off

must be something messed up on my end... i just got a mouse, and the mouse wheel doesnt scroll either... guess somethings wrong on my half?

In Zquest, try scrolling the mouse wheel very very fast and see if you get any reaction.

mouse scroll wheel works if i run it from my flash drive, but if i run from my hard drive, mouse wheel doesn't work. PageUp/PageDown dont work either way though... :/
