I had trouble with the v2.1w, the speed went either to 10/60 FPS or 500/60 FPS. So I downloaded the prior version and just beat the first quest, but I'm getting an error loading the 2nd quest. (Boy, I'm out of practise. I died 7 times in the first quest). It says the 2nd quest file is not correct. Any suggestions? Please no jumping in the lake it's cold right now!

That's a known glitch. Just register a new name as "Zelda" to play the second quest. You can also register the name "Alpha" to play the unofficial third quest.
