There appears to be a problem with the 1121 build that I'm not sure how to best categorize it. It could be a 1121 problem, it could be a windows 7 problem (and I'm leaning towards the later ATM). Figured it never hurts to mention it here.

Build 1121 Zquest Works well on my Windows 7 32bit Home Premium machine. So does build 910 and 403 which I've upgraded from. However, Build 1121 has started acting strangely, causing issues to my computer that I can't figure out. It seems to have some problems refreshing on screen. I'll see between 0%-50% of a change (say switching screens) show up, the rest doesn't refresh unless I grab the whole program and move it around. . If I quit the program for a moment, then restart it, the problem still occurs. I opened 910, it performs normally. I've also noticed my computer doesn't log off correctly or return from sleep mode, which started about a week ago. I have to force shut down the computer to fix this problem. Also, I can't make a screenshot of the problem, because even though I 'print screen' the garbled screen, it appears correct when I paste it.

I'll go back and do a restart, which will probably hang on the log out screen after I force quit an empty program, probably memory from the 1121 build that hasn't closed properly. I've checked everything in the Processes and my Performance is below normal (at 7% use right now compaired to 10% average). If the issue's already out, forgive me for repeating.

This may be a hardware issue. I run Windows 7 Professional, and don't see this problem (running both ZC and ZQuest at the same time).

Try manually disabling Aero before running ZQuest, see if that fixes it.

Woooah your video card is tripping triangles mapped to PI2 spherically aligned vertex's[1] dude. Way excellent. :D

Can you post allegro.log? Maybe we can get a better idea of what's going on there.

It did something different today: I pulled up a section of my game where it's "raining". The rain was refreshing at 5 second intervals instead of the usual 1 second over half the board, and the others were just stuck.
I also found a fix. Setting the program to full screen, then back to windowed via the Etc. menu, followed by closing and relaunching the program fixes it. I have to close and relaunch the program because in full screen, it chooses a random tile to place down instead of the one you may have selected.
I forgot to mention I cannot run the program from the Launcher into Win XP mode or 256 colors. I can without using the launcher. It automatically switches to Windows 7 Basic Colors after launch.

Weird. I doubt there's anything we can do about that.

I think I've figured it out. I didn't mention the machine I'm using is a laptop. When I unplug my machine from a power source, it freezes up (unless I grab the program and move it around the screen); when I plug it back in, the program resumes as normal. Build 1121 and build 910 do this. I've tried different power settings, but even on high performance, I still get freezeups.

Might be something to do with your motherboard or something then, since a hardware change changes the outcome while a software change seemingly doesn't.
