This is the error i get on either windows or Dos installation of ZC.

Didn´t really find that in the faq, so maybe someone can point out the error for me?

The problem is that you're trying to run the DOS version of ZC, and don't have the right files.

Don't, run the windows version. The Windows executables all have -w in their name (eg, "zelda-w.exe")
