Did anyone watch SyFy's Alice this past week? I thought it was really cool. It's not really a remake or re-imagining, but more of a new story. It's similar to Tin Man, and was even done by the same person who did Tin Man. Alice was so much better though. Tin Man had a neat story, but the acting was horrible, esp. Zooey Deschanel. Alice also has a neat story, but the acting is far far better.

It hasn't gotten good reviews, but I am a sucker for sci fi, so I enjoyed it.

btw, I also watched The Prisoner a few weeks ago on AMC. That was a little slow, but the production values were amazing, direction was great, and that pulled me in too. People who compare it to the original series say it is horrible, but I think that it is an unfair comparison, because this new Prisoner is a re-imagining, and has a different point (esp with the ending)

I'll probably watch it online at some point. I don't have cable myself, but I did hear about it.
