What is ZeldaGuard? Well,
Recent builds of Zelda Classic have the unfortunate tendancy to crash. This wouldn't be so bad (they're alpha versions, after all), except that they have a tendency to nuke your save file too when they do.
ZeldaGuard is a bandage. It runs in the background while you're playing, and keeps backup copies of your save file. If it gets erased, ZeldaGuard will automatically rollback to a previous save file. You'll lose your progress since last time, but it's better than losing everything!
Simply a utility to reduce the hair-pulling to a minimum when trying to play quests!
It uses .NET 2.0, but you likely already have it!
Version 1.1 - Grab it now! (http://zctut.com/ZeldaGuard.zip) - Updated Dec 6, 2009 @ 9:13 EST (NOTE: Minor update, if you downloaded in the last 10 minutes, grab it again!)
