Hey so, I used to just use AGsetup.exe, and it did it for me. well that doesn't work on a 64 bit windows system, for some reason. My SFX's load fine, and... Ooop, it looks liek they also won't play in winamp.

Alright. So... how does I make this work?

Have you got your SW Synth turned off in your volume settings?

Time to pull up the old standby:

Thank you, but no. I've also checked, and I have an MIDI device installed, microsoft GS wavetable SW synth, according to audio properties. Can't seem to fix it in there, either. Can't get this bugger working.

Incidentally, AGSetup is ancient. It shouldn't have been necessary ever since native Windows builds of ZC were created.

Either way, also check to make the sure volume in ZC itself is okay.

But, don't know what would cause Winamp to not be able to play them.

I had this happen on my old computer before, and it also trashed all the audio and video codecs as well. I had to reinstall all that stuff from the windows cd manually, and then install the timidity++ driver just to get midi working again. It was a pain, but you might try that too and see if it helps.

The only things not working are MIDI's. I can't seem to just find an MIDI codec. It's driving me nuts.

EDIT
Fixed it. Re-installed directX for my 64bit system, it stopped stupiding out all over. Huzzah.
