I may have irritated some people by posting this thread and bringing more souls into chat...but I think it's a good thing. We need new blood in there. I'm happy about it. :D

More of you need to drop by and shoot the breeze with us...especially since it's as easy as following a link and typing a few words...

Just remember...we are real people, with lives to live. We don't sit in front of our computers staring at an IRC window waiting for people to show up...sometimes the chat room is quiet. Try to avoid visiting at 5 am if you'd like company. Sorry moo. :hugs:

Yeah, I just leave my client running 24/7. If you ever need to get a hold of me, just leave a message in query. I'm most active during the late night though.

Yes, yes we do. This is just an easier, web-based way to get to that same chat room. No IRC client required. ;)

I think having a web-based client will be more effective. It will attract a lot more users who either don't know how to use an IRC client or are too "busy" (lazy) to download and install one. :)

Yeah, it's not always very active. Breaker, Zaphod, and Fabiano are usually around in the late evenings.

Is it actually showing up as nobody being there? Or are you just thinking nobody was there because you didn't see anybody talking right after you joined?

The online client is pretty buggy. Often when I join it lists the channel as being empty even though there are people talking.

Edit: Apparently not. I can connect via the web client but not through mIRC for some reason. Weird.
