I played BS zelda recently, and in that version of Zelda you couldn't stun the dodongos. I think a NES fix rule that disables stunning them with the deflection sound they normally make when an explosion hits one.

If you don't understand what I mean here are the differences.

Z1 Stunnned by explosions, strike with sword to kill instantly.
BS Immune to explosions, must feed it bombs.

Yeah that's a good idea. Dodongo rooms are pretty much bomb recharge rooms with the NES behavior. It'd be nice to get rid of that.
