Peehats are invulnerable when they stop and are under the effects of the stopwatch. Their shadows move however, and they become vulnerable once they land.

Sorry to say, but that's not a bug. That's how it was back in the original LoZ as well... assuming you could get a stopwatch on one of the very few screens that had the peahats on them.

True, but perhaps a quest rule that fixes this NES bug then?

I agree. Leevers will pop up from underground when the watch is in effect, other enemies are vulnerable, so, why not the peahat as well?

So this is consistant with NES behavior then, right? Doesn't sound like a bug as much as just another quirky LOZ oddity. (There are lots of them). This is something that can be looked at post 2.5. -In the meantime ZScript is perfectly capable of allowing you to kill frozen peahats.

The shadows moving however, may be a bug worth looking at. Maybe not though since it is a pretty minor nuisance.

Either make the Peahat continue to animate while stuck by the clock (as well as it's shadow) or freeze the animation of both.
