Well since my previous quest (LoZ Remix) got pretty decent feedback, I decided to make a DX version that includes better graphics. I have changed some stuff here and there, will be including some surprises, and have also taken into consideration fixing some stuff people didn't like (aka Level 7 lol). I'm thinking I should be able to finish by June/July, once the Spring semester is over; right now I've just finished level 1 and have started working on level 2...so we'll see.
As soon as I get more stuff done I'll try to put some screenshots.

Good. I kind of got excited and said something there's no way I could accomplish. (Finishing Level 4 in a week) It's nearing completion, so people can expect the demo soon.

They are fixed now :)
Oh and as a side note, I know I had announced I was making a new quest titled The Triforce Trials; it has been cancelled because I decided to put more effort into this quest, and I'm not sure if it'll get back on it or not, we'll see...

Looks good, I played your first quest I be leave :p
I've played allot of the quests from the ZC data base, yours somehow rings a bell. I've never been much of a fan of the BS Zelda tiles, but ether way I will give this game a try, when it's infact finished. :)

Are you going to be adding anything content wise besides a graphics overhaul?
As in new features ZC as came out with? Scripts, etc.
Or are you going to use the same ZC build?

1. Yep, more stuff will be added and/or fixed (nothing major, but there is a bit of a twist in the last boss...:D
2. Scripts I don't know how to work with yet, but I'm gonna try and learn about layers to add stuff like rain and snow
3. It is the same ZC build, as 2.5 is beta and I don't want to risk anything

There are so many changes that are being made to Level 4 for the DX version, I hope I finish by the end of May. Considering that I'll be spending a lot of time on Punch-Out!! Wii.

Well like I said this new game is mainly a graphics update, not much will be different except a few changes here and there, a few surprises added, or some things that people complained about taken off (enemies always return, less windrobes on later levels).
However, I did note from the original game the bosses were kinda easy so this time they should be somewhat harder; that hopefully balances with the enemies don't return, I don't want to make the game too easy either..

Upon looking at some of the screens from The Legend of Zelda Remix, I remember it like it was 6 months ago. You inspired me to start using ZQuest!

Wow I didn't know my quest could be that inspirational..lol
but yes this one is going to be significantly better..I was finishing up Death Mountain yesterday and it was hard with the BS tileset..but I think it looks great:)
