View Full Version : Bombs Hurt Rule (Comparison between 2.10 and 2.5)

Remember how Link's bombs hurt him if that rule is turned on?

Anyway, I just realized that there is a major difference on how much damage Link's bombs do to him in 2.10 and in the latest 2.5 betas.

In 2.10, normal bombs do a damage of 2 hearts to Link, and super bombs do a damage of 8 hearts to Link.

In 2.5, however, the bombs do less damage to Link than they do to enemies, with the normal bomb dealing a damage of 1 heart to Link by default, and the super bomb dealing a damage of 5 hearts to Link by default.

In conclusion, Link's bombs are much more forgiving to him in 2.5 than they are in 2.10.:shy:

Unless I'm mistaken, in recent games, bombs only do half a heart of damage, so Zelda Classic still isn't quite as forgiving as them :)

You know, _L_, I like it better how bombs do less damage to Link than they do to enemies in the 2.5 betas, but what I'm thinking is there should be a Link Damage Ratio as an editable misc property. You know, to determine how much less damage the bombs would do to Link that to his enemies.
