I've never had quite this much storage...and it's cute, too.

Time to start filling it up. :s

I recently bought a 650 GB model for like $80. It's awesome having so much storage. However...

I bet your bandwidth provider hates you. :sly:

Yeah, I got a 1 terabyte hard drive this summer.

With all my music, movies, and pretty much every rom ever, I still have 450 gigs of space left.

With organization, I could probably knock it back up to 600...

Personally, I can't wait for what things are going to be like 20 years from now. People will look back at things like 1 terabyte drives and laugh at how ridiculously small they seem.

I agree, Trevelyan. I mean, look at it this way, I have a 16GB iPod touch, and my girlfriend bought one of those 10" screen netbook, with a 16GB HD. I was like..."Really? That's all they could fit?"

I hope we can one day LIVE within external hard drives. We will one day have the power to digitize ourselves, like in Megaman Battle Network, ha ha.

;) Or connect to the internet with our minds. That would be totally awesome, although viruses could be a problem...

Yeah, viruses would be heaps of trouble.

You'd have to buy Norton Anti-Virus Body Edition for 400 dollars, no doubt.

Why? So you could do nothing except run stupid monitoring software that takes up all your processing power?

Oh, I'm sure they do. I upload 2-4 gb daily. I'd hate to even hazard a guess at what I download every day. :sb:

Norton's software just paints a big target on you for the viruses. Use Trend Micro Internet Security if you want REAL protection.

I know, ha ha. I hate Norton, it was supposed to be a joke, hence the 400 dollars.

Anyways, kinda on topic, I only have a 160GB external, but it's treating me quite well. i have a shit load on it and it all takes up a little more than half. I couldn't even imagine 1TB. To crazy for me.

I'm not even close to filling my 250 GB drive I've had for a couple of years now. 153 GB free as I write this.

My first semi-modern computer (a no-name P166) had a 2 GB hard drive. My second semi-modern CPU (a Dell P3 600) had a 20 GB drive. My best friend and college roommate at the time thought I was nuts paying the extra few bucks for the bigger drive. How would I ever fill that up, he asked. Obviously these were the days before Napster/Kazaa/Limewire/Bittorrent.

I could really use a Terabyte hard drive. Currently my desktop has less than 150 out of 500 gigs free, and my laptop with an 80 GB hardrive is totally full.

I have a 40GB HD with about 11.5GB free. I also have a 160GB ext-HD with about 135GB free. Hmmm... maybe I should start saving all the naughty pics on it instead. :D
