View Full Version : Testing: Level 0 equipment

I ran a little test on a few custom equipment items in this quest file. In this case, I set them to level 0. I tested out the following item classes with level 0:

Sword: Simply does not work. Link can't use it at all.
Boomerang: Works perfectly fine
Bomb/Super Bomb: In at least one older build, it did not show up in the sub-screen, but in the latest build it gives Link the level 1 items even if those are not given to him in the Link/Initialization Data.
Arrow: Works perfectly fine
Candle: Flame appears, but the stab/slash weapon sprites (if set) do not.
Whistle: I think it works just fine
Bait: The Link Stab sprite shows up, but the weapon sprite does not.
Letter: Simply does not work (the Potion Shop owner still won't sell any items)
Potion: Works just fine
Wand: Magic appears, melee weapon sprites do not.
Hookshot: Works just fine
Lens: Works just fine
Hammer: Simply does not work. Link cannot use it at all.
The 3 Goddess Spells: All of them work just fine.
Cane of Byrna: Beam (if set) appears, stab/slash weapon graphics do not.
Roc item: Works just fine.

I only tested out the selectable items. I have not yet run a test on the non-selectable equipment.
