This weekend is the Arnold Classic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnold_Classic) and there is a local restaurant that features a burger for the event. The place is called Thurman Cafe, and the burger, as you can probably guess is called "The Thurmanator". Well, it is massive. It is meant for body builders. Apparently, it was on "Man vs. Food", but I can't find it on youtube. Well, I bought one while at work today, just to say I did, and to see how giant they really were.

The Thurmanator, beside a can of Coke for comparison. (http://img159.imageshack.us/img159/1861/0305091736.jpg)

Well, It was so tall, it had to come in two containers, and you have to stack them yourself. I turned it upside down, and starting eating away. I got a good four or five bites in before turning it back over, and eating from the other end.

This was after I finished. (http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/9571/0305091800.jpg)

It has two 1.5 lbs beef burgers, ham, bacon, cheese, pickles, banana peppers, mayonnaise, sauteed mushrooms, and onions. It weighs about six lbs.

... just thought I'd let you know ...

Then we wonder why America is becoming a nation of overweight people with no desire to exercise.

Is it strange that when i saw "Thurmanator" I immediately thought of a robotic Strom Thurmond (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strom_Thurmond)?

Blech, just looking at the size of that thing makes me want to heave, let alone knowing what's on it. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love my meat, but that thing just looks horrible

I immediately thought of Uma Thurman. =\

After she kills Bill, she'll be back [/lame]

By the way, it cost nearly $16. This kicks your big mac in the balls.

Well, I reconstructed it this morning, and finished it off.

No way, that was my first thought, too. Suddenly the machine uprising just seems all that much more terrifying.

Anthus, where in Ohio are you? My date and I last week where going to go to Thurman's but it started raining and we didn't feel like walking so we went to Max & Erma's instead. I have yet to eat at Thurman's but I keep hearing it's really good.
