Help with hyrule christmas dx?

Uh im wondering, how do i kill the giand fairy thing in a dungeon called savage, or something...

Anyways, Help please?

Darkness kills that being if I remember well. Slash the candles in the corners or use the dungeon item on them (I don't remember which). At certain points sparks appear, you need to kill them before continuing the fight. Finally, when the fairy gets to be very small, use sword or the dungeon item on it.
Oh yes... I always wanted to use those big fairy tiles for something and so I used them for HCDX.

I found out before reading the post, it happens alot. I found out you had to crush the torches with the hammer.
