Incase anyone is interested, I hacked MMWW to use SRAM saving meaning that now if you play MM Wily Wars you will be able to save your game and unlock Wily Tower yourself rather than using a save state. You can find the patch here: http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/514/

I remember many years back being so annoyed that we couldn't play Wily Tower and then the hacked save states appeared (and I know how they did too) and that was nice but it was still annoying you couldn't unlock and earn it yourself. So that was the point to this.

I too have found now that I can save the game and unlock Wily Tower myself it has given me a good reason to go back and play the game fully again. I've beat the first two games now and have only the 3rd to go to unlock Wily Tower. =)
