The bug forum said to post it here, since it's probably not a bug. So, here goes.

As soon as I load Zelda Classic, it crashes, and the Windows error report thingy pops up. This is the information it gives:

AppName: zelda-w.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: zelda-w.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0007fa51

I have tried reinstalling.

Edit: Okay, here's my system information as told by DxDiag (and shortened by me):

Try using ZC Launcher with whatever version you are using. That's how I get Full screen on my laptop that's running XP. And it doesn't have all the tons of stuff that your computer has.

If you are trying to use an older version (2.10 and older) download one of the newer betas (NOT v935- avoid it like the plague) and COPY the Launcher into your file folder with your version of ZC/ZQ. Set a shortcut icon to your desktop for the launcher and you're good to go.

Or you can TRY to use the betas to play your quests, but there's a chance you will run into stuck issues that no one will help you with since you wouldn't be using the correct version to play it with anyways.

Have a Nice Day

Thank you so much for the advice!!! The full screen was crashing all the time.

I just could not play any Zelda game since I installed a new Nvidia graphic card, more than six months ago. I now have installed version 2.11 beta version 18, the Lost Isle version, and it works just fine. What a relief. I tought it was because of the new card and I didn't think of replacing the 2.10 version. I use Windows XP.

I've read other topics about all the new 2.5 alpha or beta versions, not to be stable and all that jazz... Should I stick to the version that I have installed or should I download a better one? If so, could you tell me where to download it from?

TIA:)
