1) Scripts are text files containing "instructions" for ZC to do many different things in a quest. While scripts are currently limited in the fact that the scripting language is incomplete, there is still a lot you can do with scripts that are not possible with other Zquest features, such as creating a fairy partner for Link, making bombs act like they do in Bomberman, etc.

As for how to script, it would be better for either Joe123, pkmnfrk, or some other Zscript expert to explain it as I have no experience in scripting yet. You can also check out the Zscript Wiki page (http://www.shardstorm.com/ZCwiki/ZScript) to learn the language yourself.

Of course, if you think scripting seems too daunting a task, you can always request scripts (http://armageddongames.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1158).

2) I have no idea what version/build of Zquest you are using, but I'll try to help:

Goto the menu bar at the top of Zquest and click on Quests -> Enemies.
From there, select an enemy you wish to edit, or make a new one by editing one of the generic named enemies near the bottom of the list (e###, # being a number). That is the Enemy Editor, which I've never used before. I could help you further if you need it, and look into it.

If the menu bar in your version of Zquest is different, then I'll need to know your version number of Zquest to help you further.

3) Do you mean FAQs for Zquest or just ZC in general (http://armageddongames.net/forums/showthread.php?t=85584)? I only know of a few Zquest tutorials (http://www.shardstorm.com/ZCwiki/Third-party_Tutorials) that are out there, but not FAQs. Sorry about that.

It can do, but it doesn't happen very much nowadays.

Ya, the new builds hardly ever crash anymore. It's just a disclaimer. If you do feel nervous about it crashing, just backup your quest about once a week.

You might want to avoid builds 923 and 928, and go for a lower build instead, though. Zquest crashes more than usual in those two.
