I've been reading up on it and I have to ask, is it worth it? For those who have played it, how fun is it and what is the lasting value? I've been curious about this game.

Hm. Well, I bought it for my (older) brother, and it was a blast (no pun intended, I swear). It's amazingly simple, yet amazingly difficult at points, yet amazing fun. I'm not sure about the lasting value since we played it for a few hours. The multiplayer was pretty fun, as well. I mean, for $40, it's a pretty good value.
