View Full Version : Exactly how difficult is it to make a Linux build anyway?

I'm a horrible programmer. But I assume that compiling a Linux build for the latest alpha would only be as difficult as modifying a few OS-level calls to match the platform and to compile on a Linux-based machine, or on a linux-based partition on a machine.

I'm going to assume that ZC makes more OS-level calls than Internet Explorer. That's the only reasonable explanation as to why we haven't had a new Linux build in about 20 years.

The official reason is that our dedicated Linux guy, Koopa, up and left quite a time ago.

Although I heard that Sean fellow can make Linux builds as well, and not just ZCL but ZQ and ZC too. Why he hasn't done more of that since, like, April is a mystery to me.

Use 904, it might have sound support thanks to Koopa and the internet. Also, check my thread in ZC Discussion for more info.
