I voted for Joe123. I like the idea of the over/under bridge made with land, but there should be some way visually to show that you can go underneath it.
mighty_darknuts screen looks pretty good too. It looks to me like some sort of a Dark World type place.

That's really just my overworld palette with the normal grass colours subbed with yellowish-green shades. A darkworld would be much……darker.
