More than one special item per map?

Hi. I'm a little new to Zelda Classic. I've been following a tutorial for a while, but for some reason, I'm only allowed to have ONE special item per map. It's a little bothering, since I'm trying to make a decent overworld.

per map... ? Under no circumstances I am aware of should that be happening. by map, you do mean collection of screens spanning 16x8 screens right? the normal definition? You don't mean Dmap or screen, do you?

Well, you can have only 1 special item per screen. But I dont know what you mean by map. By map do you mean the Dmap or the screen?
