Have you ever thought of an idea and then you for get about it and see it on T.V. a year later or something? It ticks me off. I mean I got no credit for inventing the wheel.

Yeah, what gives. I was 10 when I "invented" movable type, but apparently the Chinese beat me to it a thousand years ago.

Yeah, I drew up sketches for the principle behind an electric motor when I was twelve. Than I found out and was like "cool".

Nope. None of my invention are considered currently existing technology yet. However it seems VALVe somehow discovered the concept behind them and made them the key features of one Half-Life 2 and Portal in the form of their gravity and portal guns.

I've got the schematics right here in my desk!

The spork, when I was there.

Because I couldn't hold my damn soup in the spoon and stab the potato at the same time.

I still hate potato soup...

When I was 15 I wanted to invent a ratchet extension with two ninety-degree bends.
Then I found out about the crowfoot wrench...>=(

Bout 12 years ago, I thought up of a multimedia system that could play SNES, Genesis, Neo*Geo, Game Gear, Game Boy, and a few other systems with the power of fiber optics. Never thought something like that happen, till I found out about the Wii lol.

When I was 5 or 6, I invented the exclamation comma. The idea is simple -- an exclamation point with a comma on the bottom instead of a period. But nowadays, even the most comprehensive character sets don't have it!, so no one seems to care.

I actually did think of that one time. Everybody knows how boring english classes are. Always looking for something to do other than listen to the teacher.
