And some very holy crap (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kL3X9eG6o5g&fmt=18).

I don't know the specifics of what's going on here, but it looks like a single controller is controlling four games at once. Pretty damn formidable. The concept alone is mindblowing. Seeing it done is ridiculous, regardless of any tools he used.

EDIT: While we're on the topic, This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AqK48MBoV8&feature=related) is pretty epic too. I don't know if it's more or less impressive, ... but .. just ... damn.

its not hard to do frame by frame, mostly just tedius. the movies are tool assisted this generally means slowed down to play 1 frame at a time allowing input per frame, and rerecording if needed.

TASvideos (http://tasvideos.org/) has a video of the same controller input beating Mega Mans III through VI. I fucking love TASes.

tasvideos also contains links to youtube and google video for some of its videos, and that is what I linked to above^. Megaman 3, 4, 5 and 6 and a Megaman x1 & 2 video.

edit: ah, the first one (NES megaman) is not available (you can download it from tasvideos).

I'll see your four Mega Men, and raise you two. (http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6954)

...Though I can certainly understand the author's decision to do only one level. :p

I'm aware of that one too.
