If you and you're friends like RPGs, get this game. It's awesome!
My friends and I chipped together for the Wii version, and just sank five hours into it, and it's one of the best multiplayer times I've had in years.
If you don't know, it's basically a cross between Mario Party and a standard Dragon Quest type RPG. Sounds lame, I know, but man, with four people in the room, passing the remote around, and just letting the antics happen, this game rocks. It's got all of your standard RPG staples: random encounters, buying equipment, leveling up and improving stats, but on top of all that
all kinds of nuts stuff happens here between players.
My one friend tried robbing the weapons shop, failed, and had a 30,000 gold bounty placed on his head. Suddenly it was a frantic free-for all to see who could kill him first, and we chased him across the board.
Once you kill one of the other players, you can do any one of many horrible things to them, including stealing all of their money, afflicting them with all status conditions, or...renaming them. Thats right, you can rename your opponents when you beat them.
This game is a really great time with a bunch of people. Check it out!
