Whose looking forward to Sonic Chronicles on the DS?

I am. Took 'em long enough to finally put Sonic in a RPG. I love RPGs, so this'll be the main game in my DS.

Now I wonder if they'll ever do a Sonic/Mario RPG crossover? Only time will tell.

I'm being cautiously optimistic about it. It looks like it has incredible potential, but it also looks like it could just fall flat on its face too.

Well, I'm still looking forward to it, regardless.

Same as Aegix. If a few reviewers give it decent to great scores, though, I'm picking it up.

Well, I've given it a try.

...It's not bad at all. But at the same time, it's not incredible either.

The battle system is fun, the dialogue is witty, it's got a lot of customization, and its pretty fun.

...but it suffers from an EXTREME lack of polish. The field music is pretty bad MIDI quality music (battle music is great, though), the flow is a bit broken by the constant tapping to do actions in the field, and a couple other small annoyances.


TL;DR version: A fantastic game marred by a few flaws, and polishing issues. If you can put up with the lack of polish, then you'll probably love it.

I know I'm buying it.
