Just found out it its coming out next week too. Knew it was sooner or later since they put Mega Man 2 up. I'm actually playing Mega Man 1 at the moment on the NES cartridge I just bought, and plan to play through 2 (the best one!) and 3 (which is on its way in the mail).

Why would Megaman need a little handgun when he obviously has a freakin cannon for an arm? Other than that, ya that box art is tight. Makes me think of Robots taking over the world. Then I would have to live out in the water somewhere, I hope they all FRYYY.

Aces, it's a joke older gamers understand as it's making fun of the terrible American box art for the early Mega Man games for NES.

I'm certainly interested in playing Mega Man 9. Not sure about the Xbox 360 controller but I may just have to suffer with it since a PS3 is a long way off.

Hey I remember drawing better megaman pictures than the boxes when I was a kid. Don't get me wrong, my time was the NES. I thank the lord every day too. I tried to play Atari. I really tried. Maybe it was trying to go back and play something inferior but I hated every second of the experience. None the less I respect the Atari for what it is and what it has done for gaming. That is bringing it to the light and making it at least known what video games were, even though it kind of .... buried itself. No pun to E.T. in the desert.

I agree that Atari had alot of turd games. But even so it had some real gems, like Pac-man, Missile Command, Joust, and more. Though I played Atari games on a Atari 400/800 Personal Computer and not the nasty 2600 system.

Oh God, I'm dreading this. Not that I think it's going to be bad - it's just Wii controllers are expensive, and it'll only be a matter of time before I violently hurl mine at the TV. Heck, I'm almost to that point just going back and playing Mega Man 2.

You know, up close, this box art looks like dog shit compared to Mega Man 9's art. It looks just short of being minimally professional.

Woah, the retail package is absolutely brilliant. A NES cartridge as a CD case. I'm loving that. I want to know what is printed on the back of the box though, since theres apparently a joke to how it means nothing in game.
