How to transfer a game?

I've been having issues with playing new 2.5 ZC games. I try to test out new versions of ZC but I am unsure how to transfer my saved game files. Does anyone know how to do this? Is it one file I need to save or several, or is it a hopeless cause? I always hate the screen that sometimes comes up when I mess around with installing a new ZC over an old one, "cannot find saved quest file, make new one?"

In your ZC folder, there should be a file called "zc.sav". That's the save file. Copy that over to the new ZC version's folder and it will copy over your saved games.
