Official Third Quest help needed

I'm trying to be a completist, and in in Level 7 of the official third quest (the one that comes with zelda classic by default), how do I get the magic rod? I can't seem to get to three rooms on the map no matter what I do; I'm surely overlooking the obvious. I never found the map, the compass, nor the rod. I tried pushing/bombing/walking through everywhere... But never got anywhere. Did plenty of the multi-wizzrobe gauntlet though. :uhoh:

Hey thanks, I found it! I'm sure I'll have some more questions in Level 8 or 9, but that site there totally rocks with the maps. :D

Nah, I like the quest. Good reuse of classic elements with a little bit of a tougher twist on things.

Yay, I beat the game! All items and hearts. Only 156 deaths... Not too bad, right?
