View Full Version : custom boss map and new-fangled items

I've seen directions on how to make custom bosses but I can't visualize it very well.
Is there a map so I can look at the actual screens used to make the boss?
Similarly, is there a way to make custom moving creatures or only bosses?



My other question is about these items:
amulet
bow short,long
din's fire
dust pile
farore's wind
kill all enemies
misc
nayru's love
selection

what do they do?

I believe the misc's and the dust pile do nothing if used
except the dustpile will appear after Gannon is killed
I would guess that when you step on the "kill all enemies" or pick it up it does what it says.
I also don't know what the difference between the 2 bows.

I remember there being something about a sword spin being added.
Is that true?

Amulet: reveals invisible enemies
Bows: Long bow shoots arrows faster.
Din's Fire: Causes Link to consume magic and surround himself with a circle of flames.
Dust Pile: Use it to change the graphics of the dust pile that appears when you kill Ganon.
Farores Wind: Causes Link to consume magic and warp back to the screen where he entered the dmap.
Kill all Enemies: Kills all enemies on screen when stepped on.
Misc.: Does nothing. Used for making things like paying to play a minigame.
Nayru's Love: Causes Link to consume magic and surround himself with a shield that keeps him from taking damage for a short period of time.
Selection: Just use it to change the graphics for the subscreen cursor.

As for custom bosses, I know I have an example quest somewhere, but I'm not sure where.

And the spin attack is in the 2.5 alpha builds.

Thanks
