Ok, I'm very new to Zelda Quest. i did however, read all the tutorials, the F.A.Q, and other not so very helpful lumps of information. (Don't get me wrong, they helped with alot of things, just not with the problem I have now)

Anywho, I set up a screen to have A guy (Luigi/Abei) an Item (Rupee/Coin) and a string, (A message, obviously.) But when link/mario walks into the screen, none of them show up. Does anyone know why that is? Is it because there has to be a tile warp first?

And another quick question. Is it possible to have certain MIDI'S playing on certain screens? (I know you can do that with Dmaps, but I also want to know if you can do it with certain screens aswell)

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Do you have the room type set to Special Item?

You can if your using a 2.11 build, but if your using 2.10 you only get dmap and tracker music.

Yes, the room is set to special item, but when I walk in, nothing.

Thanks in advance for your help :)The F.A.Q. is too general for this case , but the best tutorial is the third-party AlphaDawg's Official ZQuest Tutorial (http://www.kingsquee.com/zc/zqtutorial/index.html), (Although the more recent LTM’s Extraordinary Zelda Quest Tutorial (http://www.ermock.com/zctutorial/Page00.htm), hosted by erm2003 (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/member.php?u=9116) might help for more advanced then-new features.), particularly the Creating a Cave (http://www.kingsquee.com/zc/zqtutorial/chapter1/page3.html#Step%205) section.

Is the dmap a dungeon/cave? Is the dmap level number greater than zero?

The Dmap level number is greater than zero, but its not a dungeon/cave.

A Dmap level number greater than zero causes the dmap to somewhat behave like a dungeon even if it's set to Overworld/BS-Overworld. IIRC, only a Dmap level 0 can have caves like that. Otherwise the guy, string, and items appear on the screen rather than inside the cave.
