Generally, if somebody is refered to as "she", and sometimes "he", it's a girl. People assume it's a boy and only say "she" if they're sure it's a girl. :)

But I agree, why hasn't it started?

At PureZC, Revfan is listed as as a female, so I guess that's what she is.

I don't know why the internet is so caught up in the gender of people. Is everybody a desperate man? Do they not think women belong on the internet? Or is it just curiosity killed the cat?

Last I checked, MD was a guy, but he wanted to "convert". I think he might have finally gotten the operation though, but I'm not sure.

I have a suggestion. To boost activity here, we should run SoTW a little differently. Basically, at the beginning of the week, I show a screen in classic. Just a standard, classic tileset screenshot. The, everybody who is entering has to remake that screen in a different contest. It doesn't require as much work to do as normal SoTW, since you already have a basic plan set up, but it allows for lots of variety since there are tons of different tilesets, people can use the same tileset differently, and people can interpet a screenshot in classic to look lke different things. How does that sound?

I think that's a good idea, but you'd be better off going over to Pure and running it there.
If noone can be bothered to enter SotW here, why should they be bothered to do that?

I don't know. I'm just trying to get this going. Although I post at Pure more, this forum was my first one, so I still sort of have that "AGN can do anything Pure ZC can" attitude.

Not to mention I help run the AGN Expo forum, maling it a lot easier for me to start it here than at Pure.

You have to realize something: Noone at AGN really gives a shit about ZC. The developers may be a notable exception, but nobody here really gets excited over using it. All of those people are at PZC. Anything ZC-related here is bound to fail, except the development. The only reason most ZC users have an account here at all is because this is the "official" forum.

I do have to commend you people for bothering to keep the SotW contest here going. I'd have given up on this place a long time ago.

[EDIT] And BTW, I have more than 50 posts but only a 25 PM-strong inbox. Maybe it's 100 for an increased one.

I think you misunderstood. I'm pretty sure he was saying that when he said "50 PM email", he meant that after 100 posts the limit increases to 50, not after 50 posts.
