I know this is getting dangerously close to a double posting... my apologies.

The only version of ZC that I found that (is claimed) to be able to run on a mac seems to only work in Leopard. I have a system that I haven't yet upgraded that is still running tiger and was hoping to find a good link to a version that will work on my system.

As a side note... I don't know how up to date the downloads section of the ZC website is but it would be nice if the latest released versions for ALL OS's were linked there (and even nicer would be a link to some sort of archives page from there). eSlap me if I'm being picky.

Well, try scrolling down here (http://shardstorm.com/) until you reach the Tiger-and-Leopard link (716). Be aware, though, that all of the bugfixes listed above the link won't be present.

Thanks for the reply... That's actually where I got the version that worked on leopard but not on tiger. When I try to open it in tiger it loads in the dock like it is trying to open and then quits. Both ZC and ZQ behave this way.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong (PEBCAK = problem exists between chair and keyboard).

Alright, hopefully Takuya will forgive me here.

Here is what is roughly build 828 (http://www.pumpproedits.com/ZC%20(OS%20X).tar.bz2), what he tried uploading to Shardstorm and didn't show up. I'm pretty sure he compiled this one so that it works on both Tiger and Leopard.

I have MacBook Pro with Tiger and have been waiting for a very long long time to play Zelda again. I need to know what all I need to load from scratch if some kind person could please help me out. I have forgotten all the basics of where to get the original zelda 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and supports, allegro, etc and does this 828 work? I am so desperate. You can see when I joined. It has been 4 years since I have had a Mac and haven't been able to play. Plz someone help!!

Well I'm surely doing something wrong... this one seems to behave more poorly than the one on shardstorm... Same behavior but it quits the dock much more quickly. (almost instantly).

I suppose Leopard upgrades may be stable enough now... this may be as good a reason as any.
