Hi, I have a Quad Core processor and the game goes around 1000 FPS even with framecap enabled in the launcher. Im running Windows Vista Ultimate x64, latest stable ZC with latest stable ZC Launcher. I have searched the documentatio available but did not found something of relevance. The latest beta capped the FPS at 60 fps, but even that is to much. I'd reckon 35 would be ok for me. How much did the original game ran at?

How long does it take to walk, from left to right, from one screen to another, with the fps cap on?

Also, if you have a AMD processor, install the dual core patches and what not. If you got an Intel CPU then install Service pack 3 or the dual core hotfix.

Nope, no AMD. Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600.

The original Zelda game ran at 60 fps. So I guess the original game would be too fast for you too.

If it's Frames Per Second, doesn't that mean it should take the same length of time on any machine?
