I was playing Mario Kart the other day. I was looking at the voting screen where you see the Mii of each person next to their vote and thinking that this is what the 360 needed. This could be nice if I ever bother to renew my gold subscription on Live.

This is a bad idea. The new interface is ugly as shit. I like the party feature, but I'm going to miss the "blades".

Hmm, Mii-like avatars, a new focus on "socialization" and "party gaming", the fact that at Microsoft's E3 thing the latter half basicly was casual game after casual game...

I never really liked the menu design for Apple, and it doesn't look any better on the Wii or 360. There's a fine line between "simplistic" and "sterile hospital" design. I'm hoping this design is solely for the Xbox Party thing, and not the whole dashboard. I like my Darkness theme with Richter Belmont gamerpic.
