Apparently somebody at Activision decided that video game commercials from the 80's were awesome. I laughed so hard I damn near fell out of my chair.

They never said to turn the DS on, just plug in the grip and press start...

Also sometimes I wanted to laugh at the commercial but other times it was just too lame; I don't know what they were thinking.

Activision has a history of crazy commercials... I remember playing Activision Anthology on PS2 and unlocking alot of their old Atari commercials. Never knew the late Phil Hartman went so crazy for ice hockey, and for rocking insanity, you tube the megamania commercial.
