French toast is pretty damn good. As for the forums going down for a bit, no big deal. Some people need a break from AGN and this is the only way.

Wow, I am getting kind of tired of the forums crashing. It happens almost every month. Why does it do that?

Appearently not. At Pure ZC, it's treated as "AGN's monthly downtime". This site crashes way to often.

It's not really that big of a deal.
While the admins may have fixed the problem we had months ago, more problems surely arise. The good news is that, even though pretty much no one on staff gets paid, they are still fairly prompt with fixing things.

We have a mind-boggling number of posts stored down in the database. I suggest that all the posts 4 years and older be pruned. Does anyone think that will help?

last I heard, the database is somewhere around 300mb... But I don't think removing posts will solve the problem.
