Other countries have to pay attention to our politics. We're the world power and whoever leads our country, effects theirs one way or another.

I guess they pay attention since we now have a policy of pre-emtpively invading countries. You'd pay more attention to German politics if they invaded countries and shot missiles at people whenever their leader thought that "Jesus told him to".

You'd pay more attention to German politics if they invaded countries and shot missiles at people whenever their leader thought that "Jesus told him to".They tried that once and we did pay a lot of attention to their politics; however at the time there weren't really elections so us and a lot of Europeans made the elections for them :) Also name an instance in modern history where we invaded a country for religious reasons; our last two invasions have been politically motivated although I admit the Iraq invasion's explanation is roughly as logical.
