The boys will play. :sb:
My significant other went to see our local hockey team play yesterday, leaving me home alone with my two year old. What followed was one of the best days I've had in years.

First, we went to the store and bought him a swingset (http://www.meijer.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=45740&parentCategoryId=224&categoryId=297&subCategoryId=638).
Then, since it was raining, I put it together in my living room.

My son thought it was hilarious.

After finishing that project we just sat around for a few hours eating candy and watching Spongebob Squarepants and a few other assorted cartoons. Every few minutes he would slide or swing, then come sit down again. Eventually, we got hungry.
His dinner:

My dinner:

Yes, the steak was huge. It weighed almost two pounds. :D
What was left of my dinner:

Next was bath-time. We did soap mohawks and temporary tattoos:

Then it was bed time for the boy. I sat on my porch and smoked $10 cigars and drank $4 beers with my neighbor. So relaxing. When he left, I put on my favorite movie and played Starcraft:

Every once in a while, you just have to take a day for yourself. ;)

That is one HELL of a steak sir. Jolly good show on finishing it. What may I ask was in the plate on the right? :) It resembles fish, from this distance.

It's corn (still in the husk) - you can tell because of the corn cob on his plate after he's done. And I must agree, kudos on the steak. I had a 1 1/2 lb stake the other day, and it damn near killed me. Oh, it was delicious, though. Darn it man, steak and corn is starting to sound pretty darn appealing right now. And just when I was thinking I should have something nice and healthy for dinner, like a little baked chicken with some salad. At any rate, sounds like an awesome day.

Sounds like one of the greatest days of your life. I'm dead serious, that would be a day I would cherish forever. I have a young niece, and I love taking time off and being young again.

Oh, and that is an epic meal. It's hard to top a steak-corn-beer combo. (is that some Grolsch I see?)

Dear God! Now that is my kind of dinner!

EDIT: Minus the beer.

lol
the thing on the right on his tray is a can of turkey stew. I wouldn't just stick him with an apple and cheese. He wouldn't stand for it. ;)

Indeed it was Grolsch. I love that stuff.

I want temporary tattoos and shampoo mowhawks. :(

I feel unloved.
