Does anyone know of some nice animated fog sprites, perhaps somewhat like Four Swords Adventure had in the dark forest? Basically just some scrolling bits of cloud. I have searched, though to no avail.

Heh. That was my whole point, so I doubt it. Good Luck though.

What exactly do you mean by that?

Metroid?

That sounds fine, if you can give me a picture.

Got this from Evile'a LoT tileset who said he think's he might have gotten it from DWR tileset, so...just credit Peteo and Evile to be safe.

*WARNING* VERY confusing setup!

Combo screen will look like this, and remember that each combo should be animating at 32 frames with a speed of 8, don't ask me where to start, I don't really get it. >_>

Tiles look nice, but... Way too confusing. I'm attempting to PM Petoe, but apparently his inbox is full. He does still visit here, correct? And I can't seem to find that evile is even a member here.
Wait, Revfan's lurking. He might just completely rip apart the tiles.

Oh, Evile is Evan_the_Great here. You might just start from the first one, then when you set it for 32 frames go to the 33rd one to set the second? I dunno, just mess around with it, I can't help you with ALL of it.

Look in the DWR set to figure out how they are combo'd, thats how I figured it out. They are super complex but they look nice when animated.

I have everything combo'ed and set up right, I just need to fix these errors with the palette. It appears that even though I edit my overworld palette to include the palette for the fog(since I'm planning on placing the fog on the overworld), there's no CSet for it. Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

Isn't it only like 3 colors? Just use 3 shades of grey, I'm sure you can find that somewhere.

Well, within the overworld palette, those shades aren't exactly present, or at least not how I would like them to look. And editing the overworld palette seems to be in vain. I'll see what I can do.

Hmm?

I remember seeing some very nice fog overlay tiles in this one game I was playing and I intended to rip them for my own projects, but then I fell asleep and forgot what game it was from in the morning. It might have been Super Metroid, or maybe it was Chrono Trigger, or perhaps TotR. I'll look around, and I'll be sure to send you whatever I come up with.
