Hey guys, this is Anikom15 here to say that I'm working on my first quest. Here's the story: Many years ago an evil king ruled the land of Hyrule. He built many dungeons where he would throw his victims and filled the land with terror, but a boy with a magical sword appeared as if from no where and killed the evil tyrant. Many years have passed, and a young boy was wandering in the Great Field when he suddenly fell in a hole. This was no ordinary cave however. . . .
Anyways, it'll have 18 dungeons and hopefully be a lot less typical than your ordinary quest. I'm too lazy to post a screenshot, but I will eventually. Just started and I'm done with the first dungeon.

Some criticism here.

1)Check the Screen Data option "Hold up Item" in any room with an item.
2)Link can walk on top of every southern door.
3)If you die inside the boss room, you respawn in the wall.
4)How is the player supposed to know they're supposed to walk through some of the walls where there's absolutely no indication?
5)I'm fairly certain that the string in the Zelda room isn't supposed to appear when you first walk in.
6)What's the meat for?

I'll select hold up item for some, I know link can walk on top of southerm doors, I'm still trying to figure it out. Never saw the Boss Room thing, will fix. I thought the arrow would be a major pointer. Hmm, not a big deal, will note. The meat is for giving to the Goriya in the hidden area south of the Lanmola room.

Glitches fix'd and reuploaded the demo. Still haven't fix'd the south door, or the black death. I also need to get rid of the fire in Zelda's room, and when I die in there, Link dies correctly(Background goes red).

Try setting the overhead section of the southern doors to combo type "overhead". I assume that you aren't using layers for the doors?

No layers for doors, I'll use those for when I really need them. Time to go fix.

If Link holds up an item, is it usual all other items dropped by enemies immediately disappear?

Yes, that is a ancient issue in Zelda Classic.

Geez I'm slow. I'm not even working on the 2nd dungeon yet, expect another demo soon.

Have not played the demo, but welcome to the world of ZC, newbie!

On the screenshots- they look pretty plain. I'd suggest spicing them up with either water, lava, or push-blocks to make the rooms more maze-like.

Sorry I can't play the demo right now, but I'm busy.
