I worked for the census bureau in 2000...I was in college and thought it would be cool to help count the number of citizens especially in a millennium year. It actually sucked as people were pretty rude and didn't want to give us their info. It looks like they might be calling on me again as the technology created to work in 2010 has failed..I don't see why they don't work with FedEx or UPS on some of their major problems like the DMV and the census. Newt Gingrich has a great little speech that deals with that over on YouTube.
