So I have a song stuck in my head. Like every song that gets stuck in my head, I never even liked it to begin with. I assume this is my brain's way of punishing me for something I did. Maybe I read something it didn't like and now it's going to make me pay. Maybe that was one sudoku puzzle too many and my mind has had enough. All I know is that it wants me to suffer.
Damn you, brain. Damn you.

I just knew that was going to be a Rick Roll link...
I have had that fucking song in my head, thanks to being led there 30 times.

It's Phendrana Drifts from Metroid Prime. Probably the best video game music of all time. (Whoa, those sentences rhyme.)
And yeah, I have the Rick Roll music stuck in my head for the same reason. :p

I knew it was only a matter of time before the "Rick Roll" thing made an appearance in this thread. Fortunately, years of internet use has given me immunity to memes.
EDIT: And also, Metroid music? Really? Metroid soundtracks have never really done anything for me.

It's not a Rick Roll.
Good Lord, you can't post a YouTube video anymore without people being paranoid....

I've had Rick Roll stuck in my head for months. I swear, no matter what I'm doing, somewhere in the back of my head, there's Rick Astley, singing "Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you..."
This explains a lot about you, rock_nog.
I kid, I kid. ;)

I actually had the theme from The A-Team running through my head for a couple hours and didn't realize it for an hour. It was only once I'd noticed it that I kind of mentally flashed back, and was like "Oh yeah, I have been humming that quietly all this time."

I ALWAYS have a song going on in my head. Unless there's a song playing OUTSIDE my head, or I'm super focused on hearing something, I have a song looping in my head.
And once I get one stuck...it takes HOURS to shift it. And if I try to change the song in my head, it goes right back to the old one the second I stop thinking about it.
The day after I got brawl...I had the main them in my head for the whole day and night....and part of the morning atfer that. >_> I was actually starting to get sick of it.
But it's kind of cool to have a "built in MP3 player" going on in my head.

Haha, I know what you mean. A similar thing happens when I play video games. I end up still hearing, say, the battle music from my Pokemon game, or the tunneling of my imps in Dungeon Keeper.

Skullkraken, you...you are an evil, horrible person!
Wha...what would posses you to do that? I mean, you knew we'd have to read the spoiler text, people on forums tend to be naturally curious!
Arghhhhh! Whyyyy!?

Actually, yes. Not that Rick Astley is guiding my thoughts or anything, but it's a small, yet frightening insight into the inner workings of my mind.

Singing actually starts at about 0:45, but the famous part of the song begins at 1:07. It's. Not. A. Rick. Roll.

I've got the solution to the Rick Roll paranoia problem; We simply update the AGN ToS to specify that anyone that put's up a RR link without directly specifying so in the link title gets banned. No exeptions. Problem solved.
..Seriously it's not funny anymore, and will never be funny ever again.
On topic; I've had the soundtrack to Ikaruga stuck in my head on and off for the last month or so. Anyone that owns a 360 should get this game. Bottom line.

A 360 or a Gamecube, Ikaruga is an awesome game.
I've had the Rick Roll stuck in my head for a while, but strangely enough it doesn't bother me, cause I kinda like that song.

Biggest Rickroll ever! All of Shea Stadium got Rickrolled yesterday, thanks to the combined efforts of 4chan, digg, Fark, and a few million people with no lives like myself.

[This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpzNFmMocxM)] may not be a Rick Roll, but it could be used for an excellent reverse Rick Roll trick. :D

Here are a bunch of videos that might be good for what can best be described as Caramelrolling... Use whichever one will get the best reaction from the person you're *rolling.

The OP happens to me all the time. I listen to pop and electronic music usually, and I'll be living my life and suddenly some dumb emo song gets stuck in my head for days. And no matter how much Madonna or Tiësto I listen to, my brain is still screaming "TEENAGERS SCARE THE LIVING SH!T OUT OF ME, THEY CAN'T CARE LESS AS LONG AS SOMEONE'LL BLEED" over and over until I go insane or some other emo song gets stuck up there.
