Since I finally bought a decent camera, I've been wanting to buy Photoshop but it is way too pricey for an amateur like me. I have used Elements some but have been somewhat disappointed in the options. Adobe is releasing an online version of Photoshop for free and it includes 2gigs of storage...might be worth checking out.

I just signed up and logged in. It is not really Photoshop, but more of a photo editing application. The idea sounded good, but the amount of work that I would actually do with it seems very minimal. If I need to use Photoshop on a computer that does not have it, then I will just go download The GIMP. It will work just as good when I do not have access to Photoshop.

Or you could always obtain Photoshop illegally, like I did. It's a good program for extreme image and picture editing, but it's too much for casual use. There's always Adobe ImageReady and MSPaint.
